Two new branch directors have been appointed in the OFT's Competition Enforcement Division.

Becket joined the OFT from private practice, having worked as a solicitor for five years in London and Brussels, for the law firms Baker & McKenzie, Simmons & Simmons, and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He replaces Gisela Davis who leaves to return to DEFRA.
Christiane Kent has been promoted to lead the OFT branch covering consumer goods industries, including food and drink, pharmaceuticals, textiles and domestic electrical goods.
Christiane has been working at the OFT for nearly four years. She is currently a principal case officer on competition enforcement in the basic industries sector, covering subjects such as replica football kits.
Before joining the OFT, she worked as a solicitor at the law firm Linklaters & Alliance. She replaces Donald Mason when he retires next spring.
