Private litigation in competition cases.
Competition law aims to promote, among other things, innovation, consumer choice and lower prices for consumers and other customers.
Consumers, other customers and competitors who suffer loss from breaches of competition law may seek redress in respect of such loss by bringing claims for relief in the courts against the business(es) who committed the breach or by pursuing other means of dispute resolution such as settlement or arbitration.
